So Many Yogic Choices

Hi guys, thanks so much to everyone who has pitched in already. Now we definitely need a superceremony.

For those of you who like details, I chose the Yoga Space retreat because of the dates,but may end up going with another centre. I looked around and a few centres have weekend-long retreats in a very similar price range. The goal is to get something with Downward Dog on Queen Street, it's sort of a question of dates and timing.

Assuming Yoga is contagious and I will catch it from Jeff after his retreat, this is us by the end of the summer.

Hedgie Turns 30! Join the Supergift!

Birthdays...Jeff doesn't like to make a big deal of them, but I do. Consequently, I get lavish birthday weekends that involve things like this

 or late, slightly lame presents like this (delivered so late I'm pretty sure he didn't even know it was supposed to be a birthday present at all).

I'm trying to up my game here. I figure, there are lots of people who love Jeff (as much as I do? Maybe. We can arm wrestle for it). Maybe those people would like to give him a gift also! A - dare I say it - SUPERGIFT. 

Hedge works hard. Hedge parties hard. Hedge likes yoga. If you've also worked hard at partying, you've probably been around at 3am when Hedge turns the party into a beginner's yoga class. Let's help Hedge take his commitment to late night yoga to new heights with a weekend yoga retreat (I'm pretty sure that the classes will take place during the day and probably will not involve consuming several beers beforehand, but let's not sweat the small stuff).

Here's how: If you would like to be a part of this SUPERGIFT, send me an e mail to let me know. You can pitch in some money (I think two month's salary is the usual standard for birthday gifts) using the paypal button on the right. If you're some kind of anti-authoritarian or selfish person who doesn't believe in the two month rule, you can choose an amount that you think is more reasonable. like $5 or $10 or $20 - the amount can be anonymous. 

I will then make a SUPERCARD with all of our names on it. Maybe we will present it in a SUPERCEREMONY of some kind. As per my usual tradition, it will be presented belatedly. Maybe at a SUPERPARTY at our place.
